Chihuly’s glass has long inspired me! I saw his big exhibit at the V&A many years ago, and have been back to see the pieces that are on permanent exhibit there. I was surprised and pleased to see his piece at the Mohegan Sun casino, too. I think I need to put his studio and exhibit space on my “must-see” list!
I think the way the exhibits are displayed is particularly artful. The use of black glass and spotlights really make the glass pop. Unfortunately, the day I was there the glasshouse was closed for a private party, so I didn’t get to experience that.
