I love that book! First, I took it out of the library, then I bought it! I’m getting ready to travel for a few weeks and this quilt is going to be my new handwork ‘to go’ project. I’m making my blocks 6.5”, though.
It’s been a wonderful adventure so far. I settled for 3.5” drunkards path blocks, and they are coming out so good. I will work on them all winter, then when I return to my summer residence, I’ll add in the nine patches. I’m very excited.

I made copies of the templates given at the back of the book and have used them several times. Bravo for making it your handwork project.
